Grand Italy Tour for Grandmother & Granddaughter
This was my granddaughter’s first trip abroad and we couldn’t have picked a better way to introduce her to international travel!

My granddaughter and I started our grand Italy tour by spending the first week in Rome and Firenze, otherwise known as Florence. The sights and famous landmarks were wonderful but after a week we were so ready to get away from the crowds. The second week was with Culture Discovery where we settled in the little mid evil town of Soriano. There were a total of 12 people in our group. Each couple got their own apartment in the town. Ours was wonderful! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice dining area, and kitchen. The group members were just wonderful. All fun and full of energy. We traveled around in a big luxury bus that had 21 big leather chairs! The cooking classes were held in a beautiful villa nearby. The kitchen crew were AMAZING! Carla, the goddess of the kitchen, along with Katia and two other women were so warm and accommodating. You couldn’t help but fall in love with all of them. These classes were SO MUCH FUN we didn’t want them to end. But then we sat around a beautifully set table on the covered patio and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. It was like a fairytale. My only complaint…we didn’t get much sleep.
This was such a wonderful experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this vacation. Culture Discovery definitely knows how to create the perfect getaway!
